SFAL - Brumma tunnel

Inovative solutions

Technical and capacity design of 15 km long 50 m deep The Brumma Tunnel to optimize the capacity of Stockholm's drainage systems, CSO strategies and Stockholm's central wastewater treatment plant in Henriksdal in order to withstand and manage future challenges of increased rain intensities due to climate change, population increase and city development.

The work included design and modelleing of the tunnel, drainage systems, pumpstations and CSO-control strategies.

A project of several phases and different aspects of water management, design and modelling. (2013 - 2015)
